The aim of this app is to help children become more familiar with their feelings and emotions, and the feelings and emotions of others. This app can be used to gauge how the child is feeling, by asking them to scroll through the images to indicate, “which face shows how you are feeling now?”
To increase level of difficulty, once shading has been mastered, try the following:
-‐ Can you draw ears, a moustache? Hair?
-‐ That face is sad. Can you draw tears?
-‐ Can you draw yourself?
To use this app as a resource for enhancing communication opportunities, ask questions such as “What made that person sad? What makes you sad?”
